Domaine Mont d'Hortes

In this Languedoc steeped in history, on a gravelly plateau bathed in sunshine, on the edge of the Via Domitia; on a site which revealed during the work of the earth, many vestiges of an old Roman villa, the first known establishment, of what will become the current Domaine de Mont D'Hortes (the hill of the gardens), the vines was developed to reach the present day.

Mont D'Hortes is a family passion that began in 1986. Jacques Anglade bought the estate and his eldest son Jean-Victor settled down as a young farmer. Thereafter, will follow the development of the exploitation through the restructuring of the grape varieties.

In 1996, Roch, the youngest of the family, an oenologist for 10 years, came to bring his scientific knowledge to work.

We operate 30 hectares adjoining the estate.
